Join Arounna of Bookhou in creating your own textile design using the Oxford punch needle. You will learn the basic fundamentals of this fun and addictive technique. This traditional technique of rug hooking is fun and a quick way to create an image that can be used for wall hangings, pillows and rugs. All materials are included and no experience is required. In this workshop you will create an art wall hanging. TEACHER • Arounna Khounnoraj is the punch needle expert behind Bookhou. Arounna Khounnoraj received her education from the Ontario College of Art, Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and a MFA from the University of Waterloo. She is currently exploring pattern and image in her textiles and sculptures. She and her partner John Booth have a shop in Toronto to showcase their individual and collaborative work. They are a multidisciplinary studio that emphasizes natural handmade materials and small production pieces.

Classes and workshops can be refunded if the event is more than 5 days from the date of the refund request. Classes may be canceled within 2 days of the event if there are not enough registrations, in which case a full refund would be provided.
