This class is part demonstration with AV presentation and short lecture about 3D knitwear in hand knitting approach, and all inspiration process. Olga presents her 3D design philosophy, to reveal a slightly different angle of knitwear and putting your existing knitting skills onto a novel path - all while creating this 3D textured Hisho ShawlKOKO scarf/wrap, or KOKO cowl. You will learn how to make as well as how to adapt it and shape it to your liking. 

• Cast on for invisible edging/garter stitch tab
• Cast on for turned up hem
• "Read" your knitting to keep better track of your work
• Weaving in 
ends during the process of knitting
• Working slip stitch patterns in charts and written instruction
• Customize finished accessory to personal taste
• Work i-cord bind off

400 yards fingering yarn in each of the 4 colors (yarn should be similar texture)
US 4 (3.5 mm) 40” length or longer circular needle
Crochet hook size F (3.75mm) or G (4mm)

PREREQUISITE • Confident with cast on, knit, purl, bind off, picking up stitches

TEACHER • Olga Buraya-Kefelian, better known as Olgajazzy, is an international  knitwear designer and teacher. As a daughter of a professional tailor, she has acquired her understanding of clothing construction from an early age, which has progressively become more intuitive. This intuition helps her to create imaginative yet versatile knitwear. Drawing her inspiration from industrial and architectural fields, combined with her passion for European and Japanese design, results in Olga’s knitwear designs infused with innovation. 

Classes and workshops can be refunded if the event is more than 5 days from the date of the refund request. Classes may be canceled within 2 days of the event if there are not enough registrations, in which case a full refund would be provided.
