Big, bold colorwork stitches is the name of the game with Whitney Hayward’s Watkins cardigan. Worked in four colors of chunky-weight wool Puffin, this sweater is worked seamlessly from the bottom up in the round, utilizing steeks to divide the front halves of the body. A perfect choice for first-time steek cutters and seasoned colorwork aficionados alike, our pattern comes with illustrated step-by-step instructions on steeking, from reinforcement to cutting, all practiced first on your project swatch—making this a fun and memorable project to knit.
