This simple jewelry dish is a great way to weave something special for yourself or a friend. The neutral heart and textural linen fabric bring light and love to your night stand, vanity, or coffee table. This project is a great way to practice weaving shapes. In class, you'll learn to warp your loom, start weaving, and how to make a shape in your weaving. Before class ends, we'll be sure you know how to finish your woven piece and shape the dish. The finished dish measures 5-inches square and is the perfect size to hold jewelry, keys, or coins. All materials are included in the cost of this class and are yours to keep.

TEACHER • Anne Weil of the Flax & Twine blog/website, is a craft pro, national teacher, and author of Weaving Within Reach and Arm Knitting. We have hosted Anne's workshops many times at Cattywampus to raving fans and are always thrilled when she comes back to Ojai. "Clean and simple design thrills me. I make things for home, for play, for gifts or for fun. More than that, I love showing others how to make them, too! I find peace and happiness in making, but understand the challenges of finding the time as a busy mother of three. Wanting happy-making in my life inspired me to start writing this blog and then, to leave my life in investment banking behind. Stay a while and let me bring a little of my happy handmade life to you!"

Classes and workshops can be refunded if the event is more than 5 days from the date of the refund request. Classes may be canceled within 2 days of the event if there are not enough registrations, in which case a full refund would be provided.
