Isn't this the cutest?!! I love how this classic macrame owl pattern is made more contemporary in natural cotton rope with bits of hand-spun yarn for a little spunky contrast. This would be so cute in any kid's room. Heck, who are we kidding... it would be cute in anyone's room! You know what makes this even better? Elsie Goodwin of Reform Fibers is coming to Ojai just to teach this!! Come join the fun! The class fee includes Elsie's owl macrame pattern, rope, and brass bar. We will have some accent yarn available to mix in, but you should plan to bring additional yarn for filling out your owl. This is a great use of scrap yarn in your stash! Our lovely yarns and hand-dyed silk ribbons are 10% off to class participants if you'd like to buy something special and new to make your owl just right.

TEACHER • Elsie Goodwin of Reform Fibers: "I am a Fiber Artist with an emphasis on Macrame. My background is in the fashion industry and I love how they are the same in many ways. I have 20 years experience with Knitting and Crochet and have dabbled in Punch Needle, Embroidery, and Weaving. In the summer of 2015 I learned to Macrame and I haven’t been able to put the rope down since. I have found working with my hands to be therapeutic and find it fulfilling to share my knowledge with others. I have worked with West Elm, Autograph Hotels, Poketo, Etsy, Modernica, Intelligentsia and many more."
