Andrea Mowry is always coming up with fresh, fun knits under her design name Drea Renee Knits. She created a whole series of projects in her "Shift" collection. We especially love this SHIFT COWL because it gives us the opportunity to knit with different colors and practice different stitches on a fairly small project (meaning it won't take forever). Here's what she has to say about this pattern:

This cowl is the perfect all-the-time accessory! And the answer for all of those knitters out there who love to knit shawls, but have a hard time styling them. A fun and engaging knit with shifting colors, that looks like an asymmetrical triangle shawl, and it only takes a  fiddle-free second to throw it on as the finish to every outfit!
