Gus is an open-front cardigan designed by Julie Hoover and featuring Woolfolk’s Luft yarn. Gus is worked from the bottom up in pieces with beautiful details such as loose inset pockets and full-fashioned back shoulder shaping. The front bands are worked continuously using a combination of ribbing and incorporated I-cord edge stitches that travel up through the collar. While there is ample ease built into the body of the cardigan, the shoulders and sleeves are tailored to keep the garment squarely in place. This is a beautiful sweater and well written pattern with lots of fun knit techniques to learn and practice along the way!
