Cozy house slippers make the perfectly cool California winters the absolute best. Even when the sun warms up the outdoors, it's often still cold inside. So I like to keep my toes covered. These cushy California Comfortable Slippers knit with bulky yarn do the trick! They are also so dang cute with the folded over cuff! I swore I would make my sister slippers last year, but I ended up keeping the pair I knit. So these ones will definitely be going to her. Or maybe I'll make us matching slippers for a fun family photo op.

Here at Cattywampus, we are all about the joy and specialness of having a handmade holiday, which is made even better when making together! We are offering a different knit and crochet project every month in October, November, and December in preparation for the holidays. Each one is intended to be a fairly easy pattern so that you can make more than one by the end of each month. We will meet up three times a month for each project. There is a class instruction option for those who need support and guidance throughout the project ($30 for three sessions, 3-4 pm) or a knit/crochet-a-long option for confident knitters/crocheters who simply want camaraderie (free, 4-5 pm). You will have the chance to win a $30 gift certificate raffle prize on the last day of each project. Raffle tickets are earned by showing up to the scheduled dates and for every completed project. The more you come and the more you make... the greater your chances are to win! There will be a grand raffle prize of $100 at the end of all the holiday projects on Friday, December 21st at our knit group Cattywampus Christmas party.
