This is one of our favorite patterns from the Merchant & Mills Workbook. We will be offering classes for several patterns from the book over the summer. It's an excellent set of patterns for creating a handmade wardrobe. The Bantam pattern is two in one... depending on the length, it makes either a beautiful tank top or dress. We love both! You can make it classic and chic or fun and poppy. Try contrast binding around the neck and sleeves for something fresh and a little unexpected. We made up the dress in navy seersucker with black knit binding and another in a fun woven print. The tank top is so fun and fast to make that we keep trying it out in different fabric combinations! Join us!! The skirt in the photos is another pattern from the Workbook and a great beginner garment class. If you can, take that one first then this Bantam class.
