In this macramé class we will be making fun and functional plant hangers - because no matter what style of house you have, a chic white macramé planter always looks good! The course is beginner friendly and you will learn wrapping, half knot twists, square knots, and how to double half hitch. At the end of the class everyone will have created their own cotton rope macramé plant hangers that will fit a variety of pot shapes and sizes.

SKILLS LEARNED • Macramé knotting

• All macramé materials are included in the class fee (cotton rope and metal rings)
• You will need to provide your own ceramic pot and plant

TEACHER • Annette Heully, a nationally exhibited artist, earned her MFA from California State University Long Beach with an emphasis in Fiber. She received her BA from San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Textiles. She is a resident artist at the Dove Biscuit gallery in Los Angeles and creates works in textiles, sculpture, installations, and video art. She comes from a family of artists and was raised in Ojai, California.
